Weird News

31:25: The BD for King’s Raid has been cancelled. Note that this show is airing right now, so…the hosts of this podcasgt think this can’t be a good thing.

32:50: Want to stay warm this winter? Get yourself a Kirby plushie that’s also a heater!

33:57: Normally, a manga ending wouldn’t quite go as weird news, and for Online the Comic, it ended normally enough. But for Justin, this is personal! (Since it’s one of the few leftover Mangabox titles.)

34:58: So yes Demon Slayer’s breaking records, etc, etc, which means there’s plenty of opportunities to find weird news about it! This one is just a bit too weird from the Hong Kong police involving Tanjiro and a grape. Helen does reveal a different story involving this manga though.

37:02: Hiroyuki’s Kanojo mo Kanojo is getting an anime. This manga started in March! (Justin already looks forward to Kodansha Comics eventually getting this title next year).

39:07: Justin was literally minding his business until he took to Twitter and saw Kadabra trending. He then decided to click it and learned Uri Geller has apologized and given permission for Nintendo to use Kadabra in their merchandise again. Yes, Justin learned it was banned since 2003 in 2020.

This eventually leads to a discussion on trending tweets on Twitter and Helen wondering why a Haikyu! character who only appeared very briefly in an episode trended.
