Streaming News

40:48: The Hana Yori Dango anime is also going to be added to Crunchyroll! Helen just wonders, based on the description, why it’s so popular.

41:55: The Future Avengers anime is going to be added to Disney+! Still likely not enough for Justin to get a subscription though.

Weird News

43:21: The basic, simple summary is Interspecies Reviewers is an anime based on a manga where there are a couple people who review sex workers in a fantasy world. Funimation licensed this, and for the first three weeks everything was all well and good.

…And then they mysteriously dropped it. One person reached out to customer support to find out what happened, and they said they removed it. This ended up being one of the craziest couple of weeks with this anime in general, from a content standpoint to how rare it is for a simulcast to be dropped after a couple of episodes, and yeah, the internet definitely took the news as expected.

Soon enough, a couple services had to drop it, though some are still streaming it now. In Japan, Tokyo MX had to drop it (and then replace it with a boat show).

The two hosts had to dissect every detail and information about how this happened since the level of weirdness is off the charts…so much so that Justin put out a challenge because of this.
