0:00: Justin and Helen chat about what they’ve been up to, which involves some work. It does involve just talking about butts though. Specifically, Kaoru Mori’s butts and Anything and Something.
8:30: Next is news! Kodansha licensed 5 digital manga this month, but one of them was removed for some reason. (NOTE: Kodansha announced at their NYCC panel today that Forest of Piano is coming out October 23.)
13:00: Seven Seas had a license spree as well, and they announced a few manga and light novels. One of them is an Akiko Higashimura autobiography. The other is called I Married My Best Friend to Shut My Parents Up.
18:50: Media-Do is back again! This time they’re bringing Wakako Zake, Arte, Kamakura Monogatari, & OL Visual Kei into English. One of this makes Helen happy.
21:36: Once again, Battle Angel Alita is getting delayed to February. Will this movie ever come out is a very good question, though this delay may be for the best.
23:30: VIZ licensed Snow White with the Red Hair, and both hosts were shocked this actually happened. All of this leads to a social media critique on some companies.
30:56: And then we get onto the main topic: the summer anime season! Justin and Helen watched mostly different anime. One of the two shows they ended up watching was Encouragement of Climb season 3. Everything else was different.
1:04:09: The second show the two both watched is Planet With, which gets into early thoughts about the show and of course, spoilers. Lots of spoilers for the most part. Also clogs. Clogs turn out to be important in this anime.
…Also anyone listening will have to let Justin know if Planet With is an isekai or not.
1:16:13: Finally, the podcast ends with weird news. And that weird news is Gintama…NOT ending.
