The OASG PodcastShow Notes

Episode 48 of It’s Not My Fault TheOASG Podcast is Not Popular has Justin and Helen chat about some news such as:

  • Crunchyroll bringing manga back! Well, ok, they said they weren’t done with it yet. But after removing some Kodansha titles, they’ve now added some titles, though it’s not all great.
  • Kodansha bringing digital manga back! …Well, ok, they were never actually done with it yet, but they’re ramping up with some titles for sure.
  • TOKYOPOP bringing themselves voluntarily back!!!…Ok, not the best effort there, but Justin and Helen talk about an interview ICv2 did where Justin half-defends the content of it, and then criticizes the rest.

They also get into a few more stories around the industry, which is more licensing news, Crunchyroll adding to its catalog, and Justin being surprisingly happy that Zoids is back.

But the big news is that Chihayafuru is coming back. WE LOVE THAT SHOW. JUSTIN LOVES READING THE MANGA. And yeah, the only bad news is it’s gonna come in 2019. But still, it’s coming. But until then, Helen gets a chance to laugh at Justin for the last time there was an important announcement regarding Chihayafuru, and it did not…go…well. At all.
