Weird News

29: Konami’s out here trying to get Uma Musume money or something, as now they’re suing Cygames over the Uma Musume Pretty Derby game.

28: Normally a manga getting another volume or it’s continuing in some format after it supposedly ended years ago isn’t always weird, and more Horimiya is probably welcome — but as you see the cover for Horimiya Volume 16 say final but there will be another volume of the series just makes Justin think back to the time someone in the industry told him years ago on why JP companies sometimes tell them not to have final on the cover! (EDITOR NOTE: You’ll hear Justin say Kodansha, you can guess he meant to say Yen Press.)

38: After 2 years, the One-Punch Man web manga finally got a new chapter! OPM fans are probably pleased.

50: Keiichi Arawi recently did an interview with a German manga news site, and during said interview he gave his reason on why Nichijou resumed after it supposedly ended, and then gave a very amusing response on if the series will continue.

45: Chibi Maruko is a very popular series in Japan, so there needs to be careful consideration on how you handle the characters in the series — one artist found this out the hard way.

53: You’d think the Chargers social media wouldn’t go back-to-back with releasing their schedule in anime format…they basically said, think again!

45: bigolas dickolas woIfwood became a legend after talking about This Is How You Lose the Time War in a very creative way. This led to the book selling…and also led to even the Trigun: Stampede producer buying it too! And then of course, this definitely led Trigun to finally announce the re-release of the Trigun series (ok, this is not actually true), and now everyone, especially Trigun fans, will remember the contributions bigolas dickolas woIfwood made to the fandom and the internet at large.
