13:05: AMC Networks’ CEO Christina Spade stepped down after less than three months in the role, as AMC Network is planning to lay off about 20% of its staff due to subscriber losses. Remember: this company recently acquired HIDIVE/Sentai Filmworks!

14:27: Golden Kamuy Season 4 will resume its broadcast starting with episode 1 in April; Fate/Strange Fake was planned to be released New Year’s Eve, but unfortunately it has been delayed due to production issues; meanwhile Gundam: The Witch From Mercury will finish up its first part January 8 as holiday programming this weekend and January 1 will take over its time slot. So not a production delay, a holiday delay!

17:24: Due to poor physical health, voice actress Ami Maeshima will be going on hiatus from all entertainment activities for several months; voice actress Chie Nakamura is going on hiatus due to ulcerative colitis; and actress and voice actress Juli Erickson announced on Sunday on that her husband, actor and voice actor Grant James, passed away at 87.

23:56: Ablaze has licensed Ryo Sumiyoshi’s Centaurs manga, this will start being released this summer; meanwhile Fantagraphics has licensed Shungiku Uchida’s Minami’s Lover.

25:28: Disney+ and Kodansha have expanded their partnership, which includes licensing exclusive anime series based on manga produced by Kodansha…and the first work to be a part of this is Tokyo Revengers Season 2.

26:30: Some titles on HIDIVE are once again missing, but the company revealed to ANN they are expected to return in 2023. But something like this happened earlier this year, and now it’s happening again essentially.
