After having the same theme since the beginning of 2016, it was time for a theme upgrade. Let’s just say reading the site on mobile and on pads wasn’t so good for a couple years now, and some theme concerns due to WordPress updates made it overdue for me to get this changed. And now it’s sorta here.
Sorta since, as you probably will gather if you click around (especially reviews), there’s some stuff that needs to be updated. In addition there might be more site tweaks (minor to noticeable) we will be making over the next few weeks for the site and mobile, so we ask for your patience as we will get to updating those over time. And your patience if we change something that’s current now!
For now though, we hope the site is a bit more presentable at home and wherever you go! Let us know if there’s anything you’d like us to add or fix, and we’ll do what we can. Many thanks to Alcina for help in picking out the theme and making the site look presentable.
Anywho…updating the theme today was intended to be a mostly silent activity, but alas, I made a mistake:
In switching themes, there was a setting I was likely NOT supposed to click when making the switch over, and while I was busy tinkering with the site over 65 posts from me and me only was published in likely a minute. I didn’t even know that happened until I saw my LINE messages…and then both Twitter accounts (main and personal)…and the unfollows that occurred (oof!). Since none of the posts showed up on something like Anime Nano (it also didn’t show up on Feedly), pretty much anyone who subscribed via email, Twitter, or on Facebook got some of the demo articles from the new theme. That’s on me. Apologies for all that happened today. And also thanks for those who reached out regarding the health of the site. Will do what I can to not let that happen again.
