Game Night With Your BFFs

Sometimes I have an idea for this column, and I get quite a ways into it, and then, BAM — big news comes in and bumps an article back. Such was the case of my list to celebrate International TableTop Day on June 4th. Board games and cards games are a hobby that’s grown in popularity over the past few years, and many anime properties have been made into board games. I’ve pointed out some these adaptations before, but with the pandemic, I didn’t make it an annual article.

But hey, it just so happens to be National Best Friends Day today! While many games have a solo mode, they’re generally designed to be played with another person or small group. So here are a few titles to combine your love of anime for a fun game night with your BFFs.
